Hey guys, taking mom on a little fishing trip, so I brought my 3hp Johnson folder. Just realized I forgot to bring my little pack of shear pin….duh!

What are the dimensions and alloy make of the shear/drive pin? I didn’t bring my resource material.

      Thanks for any assistance.

1/8" X 13/16" seems familiar but not positive.

If you are already at camp, a nail or piece of fence wire can be used in a pinch as the prop has a rubber hub! 😀

Thanks guys. I went to a hardware store in town and found some roll pins that fit. Thanks Mumbles for the dimensions. The area I am in has very poor telephone and Web reception.

A "Boathouse Repair" is one thats done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.

Sorry I could not respond to you guys. The cell and 4 G network were sporadic. We were about 8 miles from the nearest area of receptions. The hardware store close by modified the 1/8 by 1 inch roll pins to 1/8 by 13/16 inch. They cost me a buck for all four roll pins. Just wanted to have them as back up.

I have some videos of the 1967 Johnson 3Hp folder in action. It ran great and idle really slow.

I also have a video of my 1937 Johnson (model 110) 1.7hp. She ran sweet and just about as much pep as my Johnson 3hp.

I got alot guys come over to look at my little prizes. Had a blast scooting along.
