      US MEMBER PAY BY CHECK

      Restoring(to running condition) a Johnson A-25(1925). I took off the cylinder to check the pistons/rings. Looking up into the cylinders I noticed what appears to be an aluminum wafer. One side looks OK, the other shows some damage(could be straightened). Question what are these for and can they be removed??

        A "Boathouse Repair" is one that done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.
