johnson conversion

Does anyone know if it is possible to convert a 1992 Johnson 60HP MODEL VE60ELENE from remote steering and control to a Tiller. If yes were can I get the parts ? Did Johnson ever make a conversion kit ?

A few no longer available (and expensive) parts for that 27 year old outboard. I imagine the remote controls are just as expensive to buy from a dealer. . . 🙄
