Johnson HD 25 head frost plug

Does anyone know where to get a frost plug for the head on a 1947 Johnson HD 25 2 1/2 hp

What’s wrong with that one? If it’s leaking, you can clean the area and apply some epoxy to seal it.

Spark Plug threads are also in rough shape.

Yes this is the old one. The new one is good except its missing the frost plug. I was just using the picture of the old one to show the plug that was supposed to be in the head I purchased. I should be able to come up with a plug for the hole on the new one without too much trouble.

you could just tap it and install a plug.

Take a hack saw, cut the end off of the bad one,
and knock it out of there. Set it on a nut and hit it
with something blunt to cup it again and use it
with a little epoxy.
