      I have a Johnson HD25 88069 and I am trying to find out what year it was made. Can anyone assist me? It was purchased in Canada if that helps.

        US MEMBER PAY BY CHECK

        HD-25 was made 1946-1950. Sorry, I don’t have a Canadian serial number list to narrow it down further

          Thank you for your reply. As I work through restoring this motor I have noticed a gas leak on the primer. One of the members has indicated that there is a piece of leather that was used to seal off the are of the leak and a member of the AMOC made this peice, any idea who or do you have a work around?

            Do a search for “Lloyd leather” and you should find the person

                Thanks for the quick response, I am a newbie with this engine and have received the advise that I need this piece to stop the leak. I have no idea what it called or what it looks like…is there a name for it and if I am able to get someone at Lloyd’s Leather will they know what I am looking for?

                        It is a primer seal and the only thing he makes. It comes with complete instructions.
