I’ve heard of the connection of OMC and the Johnson Iron Horse
engines, but never knew they sold roto tillers.
Anybody have one?http://www.ebay.com/itm/1950s-Iron-Hors … SwGeBXPnbW

Many adaptions were designed thru the years, Lawn Mowers, Snow Throwers, Tandom riding mowers (front unit had the ride on & the towing unit the grass cutting deck, Tillers & even edge trimmers.December 6, 2016 at 1:41 pm #48641I have an Iron Horse motor on the shelf, purchased years ago before
my interest in collecting outboards, and I had no idea the two were
related.
Is there an official OMC Museum, virtual or real, that shows all
of their endeavors, i.e., lawn mowers, rotor tillers, boats, and outboards, etc.?
If not, there should be!
P.S.- Mumbles, I love those drive wheels on that snow blower!Prepare to be boarded!

That is a Lawn Boy tiller, but when sold up North in Canada they changed the name. I have the LB branded version. I very HD unit that you could change the width by removing or turning the plates or use it for cultivating by adding plate to the outer ends. I still use mine every year. It is powered by the LB motor with a modified crankcase, but the same power head as the LB mower of that era.
