      Anyone convert the original coil on 1928 Johnson K-40? I brought one of Big Riches after market coils, hooking laments to it looks like a challenge, I can do it but coil is smaller so distance from them is about 1/2 each side, will this hurt spark? On another note if anyone has original coil let me know and I’ll buy it. Jim Davis scottatwater49@gmail.com. Thanks

        A "Boathouse Repair" is one that done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.

          It was exactly like that one, only I cut it to fit the coil I brought, wished I had done it with the OMC coils, I got a bunch of those. after much sawing and grinding made the other fit and works great, just a lot of cutting lament to fit and drilling.
