      Asked this question over at the green board but would like a few additional suggestions if possible.
      Would anyone know of a good substitute for the felt type packing material that Johnson used on the slow speed needle on the KD 15 9.8HP.
      I have OEM packing ranging from Elto Cub size, to 50’s OMC packing and nothing is like, or fits like that old thick "felt like" material that they used for those motors. Original part number is 25-270. Possibly a piece of leather punched out?
