I am looking for a set of ground brushes part# 71-1499 for my 1940 LT10. I believe that they are made fm .010 thick phosphor bronze sheet. I can’t find sheet brnz this thin or I would make my own. These hook to coil and contact rotor on flywheel.

Could you use brass shim stock? Just wondering. An LT10 was the first motor I operated at age 8 in 1940. A sweet motor. Still have one. Cheers, JW
