Johnson S tank what year?

Hi all, I’m trying to figure out what year this Johnson S tank is from its nothing like the 29 S45 decal and is painted silver before decal was applied any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like a postwar tank to me. About 1946. Don’t think it is PO, the had the filler centred on the rear edge.

its somewhere between 29-34, fits S and PO the exact same size as a S 45 but slightly smaller hieght wise than the PO. the only motors that had this style tank in the 40s was the PO and the gas filler opening was in the back middle and painted green in the late 40s. definitly pre war.

Makes sense, but i think it was replaced probably in the 30s or 40s by the looks of the patina.
