Has anyone ever looked for, and found brass tubing stock to make
new primer cylinders for the H and T series Johnsons?
The cylinder on the DT-38 I’m working on fought removal
for all it was worth. I finally won with soaking, heat,
and a 1/2" tap, but it was not pretty when it came out. 😮
I "could" scavage one from a TD or the likes, but thought
I’d ask if anyone ever "made" new ones.
The tubes are .500 ID, and about .562 OD.
I find tube stock for sale, but all .500 OD.
      Thanks!

I don’t know about making them, but a few years back, Marine Engine had them for sale for around four dollars.

          Thanks, I’ll check it out!
          Update –
The part number for the brass sleeve is 132158.
The only place I found that had them was a
marine dealer in CA, via EBay, that wanted
          almost $20 each with shipping.
I’ll borrow one from a junk TD 😉
