      so im quite confused i have 2 motors td20 no matter what i changed and cleaned the points twice new wires used coils which are good sparkplugs condensers changed everything around mixing them up or switching around i cannot get a spark on 1 coil cleaned everything so im at a standstill dont know what to try next really stumped both motors are the same except the oreintation of points 1 set of points is on the inside the other on the outside thats a little confusing too. anything will help i dont know what to do ?

        Did you have the points apart? If the insulators are installed incorrectly,
        or one is missing, perhaps the points are grounded out?

            So you tried switching parts around. Did the problem follow the points? Or is it the same cylinder with no spark regardless of which points?

            Yeah, there were a couple of design changes in the points, but any of them should work.

              so found the issue the horseshoe coil was not at the exactly the same distance on both sides of the magnet did not realize it was so picky and had to be so accurate but lesson learned a good 1 to the other motors i worked on were not so exact thanks for the help.

                hi found the issue it was the horseshoe coil that was off on 1 side did not know it had to be so accurate lesson learned a good 1 thanks and still do not understand why the design change on the points orientation 1 set of points on the inside and the other motor on the outside the ones on the inside much easier to gap well thanks so much for input
