johnson tn 26 question…

i just fired up a great 1950 sea horse 5 but no water was pumping so i shut off fairly quickly…i know the impeller needs changing but also gear oil is dripping where the lower unit bolts onto the rest of the motor….how many seals or gaskets should i change out?

might be unburned fuel not gear lube.

Brian, the TN,s are documented in the johnson red service manual . you may want to consult it if you don’t have a copy of the manual

go to MEMBERS ONLY tab….then INNER SANCTUM tab…. go down to library..find Garry Spencer’s drop box

open it …go down and find the RED BOOK and save (download) iit in a PDF file print it if need be
