johnson tn 26 wont pump water

l changed the impeller although it wasnt cracked or broken just bent…although i failed to hook up the neutral clutch correctly as it didnt engage when i retested it..need to figure out why no water comes out the exit port…

2 options

spin the drive shaft with the LU in a deep bucket to see if water comes out of the pump … if not check the impeller pin and water passage ways to the impeller housing

push water up the water tube to see what happens … water passage could be blocked by a previously broken impeller fin or something
