Johnson TN28

Just bought a TN28. Can you tell the year from the serial number? SN 969119.

This is a one owner unit. Original paint is near mint, with only very minor loss. Decals have yellowed a bit, but are nearly completely intact. Got it from the great-granddaughter of the original owner. Now to get it running. Last started the year it was bought.

Congratulations on your TN28! Great motor! And thanks to crosbyman for his link to the Pochefamily website. Please note that if you need new Leather Primer Seals with installation instructions as you almost surely will need them, I had to increase the price for seals to $10.00 several years ago. Very limited supply of the proper leather to make any more. I tried to contact David Poche some time ago to update the website, but no response.

BTW tn 27 tn28s have good old magneto ignition… easy to service but you will have to pull the flywheel
