      I am looking for service and repair info on the diaphragm Vacturi carb used on the S V VE 45-50 . Milt Moos provided me with owner’s manual and diagrams which help a lot but I am looking for a repair and parts manual Ed 2 and 4 Johnson manuals have no info and Ken Cook doesn’t either I am using one on my V45 a lot and am amazed at the fuel savings over the standard carb easily 20% – 30% fuel savings However the inlet valve leaks corroded surfaces so thru trying o rings I ended up facing the valve surface with rubber diaphragm material and the carb needs a precise distance from the phenolic diaphragm to operate properly but I can only guess . Any info as to where a manual could be found would be helpful

        The only thing I can find in my documents is the Outboard Racers Manual….doesn’t seem to touch on what you need though sorry.

        I have never seen information published anywhere with information like that…..perhaps the best thing to do would be to measure a known good carb?
