Float was aligned correctly and needle valve properly blocks fuel arrival. Fuel spits out ofmthe carb intake only when the motor runs.
Will look at the reeds. I guess I might have dismissed that possible cause too rapidly as the motor started fine. I’ll post whatnI find.
