Once the wires and boots are attached to the coils, have you tried an ohmmeter test of the secondary from sparkplug boot to coil? This will help by verifying the continuity right to the sparkplug.

Good point. Sparkplugs can also be tested with an ohmeter.

Well replaced the coil, condenser, points and spark plug wire and got it running on two cylinders now. Not sure where the culprit was but fixed now.

Yes crosbyman very frustrating every thing seemed to test individually okay but would not fire. still am leery about this one not sure I will take it far from shore for awhile….
