Well put my KA 37 power head back together today with new rings. Gave it a spin with a drill and both cylinders are showing 80 lbs compression. Acceptable? Still trying to figure out which way the oil slinger is supposed to face?
Can anyone explain how to remove the prop shaft from a KA 37. The drive shaft and prop shaft just dont pull out?
I believe the ball bearing is pressed onto the prop shaft,
and is a light press into the gear case housing.
Normally if you heat up the housing and wrap on the
nose cone with a block of wood, the prop shaft and bearing
will drop out.
