KF-7 fuel issue

My 1950 KF-7 starts starving for fuel when the tank is about half empty.
Suggestions anyone?

Remove the in tank fuel filter and clean it.

check the cap vent make sure the vent hole is open

In tank filters are difficult to clean. Maybe remove and add an inline filter? What I do.
