KG versus KE7 gas tanks

Are these tanks the same dimensions and will interchange with the tanks rims  (i.e. will a KG7 tank rim fit correctly on a KE7 tank?

As you haven’t yet received a response I believe that
that the KE7 tank has a smaller gas cap & a smaller fuel
filter but is otherwise the same as the KG7 tank.
Maybe by moving this back up to the top you will get a
response from someone that can provide you with a
more reliable answer.

A "Boathouse Repair" is one thats done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.

Yes they will interchange.

there are 3 size green tanks

large KG7 type

medium Mark 7 type

and small mark 5 type

some early ones had smaller filters and caps. but will work.
