So if you sell a motor it’s OK to buy another. So why do I need this lauson sport king? Looks real rough.

Is it a twin cylinder or a single?

Haven’t seen in person yet. Think it might be a twin.

The coils on the twins have a bad reputation for being bad. Some of us have adapted coils from other applications. John Deere pony motor coils, Briggs and Stratton twins, motorcycle coils.

Any idea on costs for coils?

I have seen on eBay that someone is winding coils for the old Maytag twin cylinder washing machine motors. Not cheap, around $150 last time I looked. The John Deere coils are around 60.00, and the B&S coils 25.00.
