        Doug,
        According to the Lauson parts list, the head bolts are 5/16ths by 18. The standard torque value for 5/16th bolts are 120-140 inch pounds or….10 to 12 foot pounds. When you torque them down, start in the middle and do a figure 8 loop around the bolts, first tightening them 1/2 the stated value and then finish up with the final torque. Once the motor has run and cooled back down, re-torque the heads.
