June 28, 2016 at 12:09 pm #39116I tried to follow a link to Leroys site yesterday. Didn’t get there.
June 28, 2016 at 12:50 pm #39118Ya, that’s weird. I can get the home page, but none of the subject links work. Maybe temoprary?

June 28, 2016 at 2:11 pm #39128It’s been down now for at least four or five days I know of and then I couldn’t even get the home page. Maybe it’s slowly coming back.

June 28, 2016 at 3:09 pm #39132For what it’s worth, you can usually use the Wayback Machine to get to old websites that have died.
1) Go here: https://archive.org/web/
2) Put in the URL of the website you want to go to at the window near the top of the page
3) Choose from a range of archive dates. As an example, currently the link for "Boating related articles" is down
However, if you go here:
https://web.archive.org/web/20150726175 … icles.html
Then you’ll see the archived posts from around late July, 2015.If a website recently went down, then you might have to go back a few months for the most recent archived page
Happy surfing.

archive.org to the rescue!
http://web.archive.org/web/201603281929 … icles.html
Some odd facts I’ve spotted on the site:
http://web.archive.org/web/201510281440 … _18hp.html
says there was an "E-10" (maybe FDE??)http://web.archive.org/web/201511160807 … son_QD.htm
says: "This 10 hp motor, was built from 1949 to 1963, which was a the last of the high profile 10 hp series motors. It spans the gap of being made by Johnson and then on into the merger with Evinrude in 1956 when the OMC company was formed."
and describes the pre-1960 pinion as "friction fit" rather than keyed. The 35/40 page is just confused:
http://web.archive.org/web/201511170820 … _35-40.htmBut the page on reassembling the square fuel pumps helped me out!!
