Picked up a nice little Lockwood Ace model 92A for 1929.
It has some issues and I need some parts to bring it back to original.
I am looking for the following and will also post in want ads.
Can anyone tell me the original finish on this motor? Perhaps T2 or others.
Looks to be polished tank, and dull aluminum although there is not a lot of evidence of paint.
Here are some parts I am looking to buy.

      – Carb air intake horn. It is fitting in and held with one screw on the carb.
      – Brass loop at and of muffler Manifold. Screws onto the rod that holds the can in place and is also used for steering
      – Tiller grip stop button that fits on the end of tiller grip handle and the wiring accessories.
      – Gas cap for the top of the tank. Has threads on the outside of the cap.
      – Cylinder Jugs for right and left. The ones I have are welded on the ends. assuming that the water jackets cracked at one time.
      – Decals for tank.
      – Coils and condensers for this model

      Any help is appreciated.

I am no expert, but am close to finishing a 1930 silent Ace.Here is what I know from my experiece:My Ace only has a little silver paint on the transom clamp, down tube and associated castings. The ring bolts are the same as those found on my LA 72T,my Johnson A35
and other models as well.Art Dekalb sells those. You can replace your coil with OMC universal coils and condenser.I just did it and there is all the advice I received on a thread on this forum. Here are pictures of my hill-billy replacement tiller handle stop button. The black part of the button is just low temp moldable plastic I forced in the hole to form threads and then drilled shaped and painted. The wire is just clothes hanger.Looks good enough for now and works fine. Finally,I think many parts from the62T and 72T interchange with the Ace.

Love you solution for the missing kill button parts.
          Link to your coil thread.

A "Boathouse Repair" is one thats done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.
