      Even though they are trashed, the decals are a thing of beauty afaic .

        I’m not a purist when it comes to my motors; my ’27 Speedster below is a point in question.. and the ’29 P-45 a badly dented tank where it must have toppled over in it’s past, non standard tillers on others, part painted renovated motors (and a ‘ 67 Chrysler without mid section cowls, because I think it looks better…). Make do and mend, as they say.

            A "Boathouse Repair" is one that done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.
