I am looking for a 20HP motor to replace a 1952 Super 10 hurricane .

How are you going to use that motor? The 10 Hurricane is a favorite for small hydroplane racing. If you are looking for a 20 HP motor for a hydroplane, look to Mercury. If you are looking for a smooth running ski or fishing motor, and a quiet motor, I’d recommend a 1950s or 60s 18 HP Johnson or Evinrude.

Dave, my problem is that the engine does not run and i do not have the skill’s to rebuild it. If you know of anyone that would be willing to overhaul this motor and bring it back to a good working condition, that would be great. I have attached a picture of the boat and motor
