Hello and good morning! My name is Rob, and I am new member of the AOMCI.

I live in Greenwood, Indiana and I would love to find a mentor to help me learn more about vintage outboard motors. Ive been tinkering with them over the last 6 months or so, and I think I’ve bought 7 or 8 motors over the last 6 months. I’ve had some success getting a few running and I’ve ruined a motor along the way. It’s a fun and relatively inexpensive hobby. I’m getting comfortable with the basics, but I’d like to Branch out and learn more. I had a member on Facebook mention the MOB. How do I sign up for this?

I saw that post on facebook and I hope that you connected with steve. The best way to join the MOB chapter is to go to one of our meets and fill out the member form. Our next one in on June 10th on Lake Loramie in Ohio https://www.aomci.org/event/lake-loramie-wet-meet/. If you can’t make it to that the next one up in Constantine Michigan the 13-17th of July https://www.aomci.org/event/constantine-super-meet-3/. Steve Roskowski has every thing you need to get preregistered as well.
