Lower crank seal question.

I have two Gale products. A 5hp Sea King model GG9003A and a 5hp Buccaneer model 5D10B.Do either of these motors have the lower crank seal that is prone to fail and let water in the crankcase? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Doesn’t appear to be a lower seal on the Gale.

They both have a seal #28, part number 550788, but they are nowhere near as problematic as the ones you are thinking of.
