MAC 10 fuel pump

I have a Mac 10 (Sachs rotary) I’m working through to get running again. The fuel pump has a relatively stiff diaphragm and struggles to keep up with the carb while running. I’d like to keep the original pump if possible before throwing in the towel and switching to an newer OMC pump. As far as I can tell, the current fuel pump is a Bing 08020-102 pump. I’ve been unable to find the pump or components online so far, so any leads on a functional pump or new diaphragm is appreciated.

You can get diaphragm material in bulk.  Unless there are parts or fittings attached to the original, making a new diaphragm is usually pretty simple.

The pump I have is a 102 rather than a 103, the 103 appears to have a additional port mine does not.

As far as making my own what material do you suggest or where should I look to get some?

When I was looking for some a couple of years ago I ended up buying from the United Kingdom.  Couldn’t find ANYTHING in the US that seemed to fit the bill.  Weird but that’s what I did.  Here’s the link to that same seller:

At the least….you can get the nomenclature from their listing and then perhaps check with McMaster Carr or similar vendors here to see if they can help you.  I think that the important detail is that the Nitrile material has some sort of reinforcing mesh embedded in it.  It needs to have that from what I have read.
