Mac 10 Wankel motor

Helping to move a Mac 10 Wankel motor this weekend. I’m not sure of the year but it’s new in the crate. Is there a following for these motors? I’ve never heard of them. Wondering if I should leave it be or look into getting it running. Proceedings with caution.

Within the antique outboard enthusiast, I would think a lot of us
would like one for our collection just because they’re “oddball”,
and probably not a lot of them.

Ever heard “Its only original once”?
Well, it’s only new in the crate once as well.
