        This magneto design was patented in 1915 by H C Mueller and assigned to the Evinrude Company. The patent number is 1,147,038. There are excellent drawings of the entire magneto in the patent.

          Ok! I followed the advice given by Jim Moffatt and Tubs. RC did the charging for me and it worked! I now have the magnetism back in the flywheel. I’ll get it back on the RBM in a couple days and see if the magneto is still working. It worked before, but I switched it to run on a buzz coil for the last RBM meet. Maybe i can ditch the battery and buzz coil now.

            If you can post a picture of the mag plate with the timer handle I can tell you exactly where the points should open.
