If this topic is related to the forum or not but I want to see if anyone wants to post homemade tools for servicing and repairing old outboard.

I have old 70’s big OMC outboard which has lift assist cylinder leaking. So I need a tool to remove the cap. There are many of them selling online but why not just make one tool to combine two of them. Here is the design and the product.

Nice piece of work – looks like a well built service tool.

There actually is a forum on the site dedicated to Make Your Own Tools.  It is in the Members only area.  With your skill level….you should join up and post there.  I’m sure your work would be the envy of a lot of us.
