      To look at 1962 Evinrude 40hp, model 35029 – I have to click on 28hp. Model number plate from motor clearly says 40hp.

        That is the proper tag for a 1962 long shaft 40 horse power Big Twin Evinrude. The 28 HP Speedhtwin that year was model 28202

          Yep, I just looked. marineengine has it screwed up. They list 35029 as a 28hp, which of course it is not. Looks like the correct parts list, but filed under the wrong horsepower.
