      Is there a better alternative to testing mk25 besides in a barrel? Some sort of ear muffs?

        Nope. Barrel is second best. Best is on a boat. To my knowledge, there wasn’t a commercially available earmuff type gizmo for the Mark 25 type intake.

          yes there were muffs for the mark 25. merc made them . work great but try to find them. I have one.

              cant find it right now BUT it is a 2 piece set up that wraps around the housing and the hose hooks to it by the intake..
