Can a Martin 40 power head be used to replace a bad power head on a Martin 45?

I just looked at my Martin 45 and it looks like it will bolt right up. Not like trying to convert a 60 to a 75 twist shift. On that, part of the shift linkage bolts to the block. The carb on the 45 is different and maybe the magneto.

I’d really like to hear from some one that knows for sure they are inter changeable. My 45 appears to have bad center main bearing and there is a "good" 40 power head available on e-bay that I’d like to buy if it’s just a swap.

I was busy this morning. I do have a 40 block that I was going to compare with one that is assembled. Only takes a few screws to remove. I’m not going to do that now.
