      Anyone know how to remove the flywheel from a McCulloch 9Hp ? Also got the lower unit/gearcase apart and can’t get it back together.

        Well I have a Clymer’s “Old Outboard Motor” manual and all it says about the flywheel is “remove the flywheel”. It has a pretty good exploded view of the gear case though.

          Thanks jerryswiss. I figured it out. The motor is a 1966 9hp #80366. Coils are bad and I am going to part it out to any club member. No charge. Just pay the shipping rounded up to the nearest dollor
