As I recall, you have a new, solid float valve. If it IS a solid one, then, when you hold the carb body upside down, the float should be relatively parallel to the carb. There is an actual measurement but this is ball park, to run okay. If the run quality cleans up just before it runs out of gas after the fuel line is disconnected, then it’s probably not the idle mixture adjustment. What about a new fuel pump diaphragm?
