      Hi Folk’s,

      Anyone made the switch to a Electronic ignition system?

        If you are talking about the Bendix Magneto and the Nova ll type modules they won’t work. If you pull the plug they will make a good spark. But with the plugs in compression keeps you turning the motor fast enough to make spark.

          So, do they work okay with Phelon?

            They work on OMC coils so should work on Phelon. The magnet is on outer edge of flywheel and moves faster on OMC and Phelon. Might work on Bendix if you could fast . I am 80 and can’t do it.

              The old saying; "Anything will work if you crank it fast enough." I’m 85 and fully understand. 🙁
