      Hello all,
      Finishing up my Mark 55 project and got it to fire off! Victory for me, endless complaining from the Wife because of the smell of firing some vintage iron in the basement in the dead of winter. Anyway….I have a grease fitting on the mag on this one and want to refill the beast at this time. Can anyone tell me what type of grease would be used in this application? See pics for location I am speaking of.

        I use merc grease genera[ purpose. pump till all the old grease is out then clean up. I would take the timing gear off to do it.
