Hello, I’m new here. I have a question about my 1958 Mark 30. The serial number indicates it’s near the upper end of the 1958 models. It is a manual start with remote steering no charging system. My question is what options do I have for the throttle and shift controls. I will be putting it on a 1958 Lone Star aluminum runabout. Not concerned whether they are original controls just that they work properly for this motor. Thanks in advance.

ANY MERCURY control will work double lever or single lever.. to your liking.

Do I need special cables or anything else that is unobtainium?

Get aa square single lever cables are easy to get.

Would you please post a link showing a picture of what these cables look like. I’ve never seen them.
