Merc Mark-55 problem

As I was cleaning the motor, found that spark-plug 3 was loose, hole seems to be cross-threaded or something. The plug bottoms out and releases after not much torque. Can this be fixed? The motor is in very nice shape other than this. Thanks.

yes it can there is a kit for it at a good auto parts store.
