Took the liberty of cleaning up the 1959 operating instructions pages for the Merc-O-Tronic Model 88 Magneto Tester to make them a bit more easier to read.  I have added a bit of colour to some of the pages as I found a later manual that included images with some colour added.  The file size is quite small which will allow me to post it here and in reading through it found that there is a lot of useful information when diagnosing and troubleshooting ignition related problems.  Since the Model 88 tester has the condenser tests switched in the switch positions this copy of the manual is specific to it as far as showing the correct switch positions and corresponding scale to read.  I have not included the specification pages to keep the pdf file size small.  Hope this helps someone.Merc-O-Tronic-Model-88-1959-Operating-Instructions-Only

        29Chev….

Thanks for the PDF.  I’m sure you realize this but others might not.  You can use a file transfer service like Wetransfer to move large files around .  It’s free and user friendly.

Also…if you would like I can post your larger files on the Southern California Chapter website and downloads can be done from there.

wouldn’t a large  file transfer option  be a great  option for this site   under the  “Members only”  tab 🙂

            29Chev…..

Thanks for the Google Drive link.  I tried replying thru the PM and I’m not sure if it went through.  Just wanted you to know that I have the file and will post it on the SoCal site in a few days.

If you have other large files that you want to share….send me a link to those as well.

            Thanks!

Sent you a pm with a link to a cleaned up version of a manual for the Model 98 – uploaded just the instruction pages (2.2mb file) but had to split the file in two so it would load.
