Hello, my friend just picked up this tank. Is this some sort of customization?? Looks like Schrader valve and grease fitting on top and hose fitting on side. No primer lever

I believe I have a tank like that. If I remember when I get
to the garage I’ll check mine out to see what fittings it has,
and perhaps a photo or two, if I don’t fall off the ladder, lol.

Early Mercs used a pressure tank, which is similar in operation to the OMC tanks. The motor end hose fittings are far and few between though.

Thanks. I have a fitting for the engine. I’ve seen a few other tanks and the fittings on the tank look nothing like these

                  Similar to OMC, but different.

That fitting is for the Wizard (Mercury) brand of pressure tank motors. The actual Mercury pressure fittings were different, 1/4 turn units used on MK 15, 20 and 40’s

Yes it is or was a pressure tank but what is with the connector on the lower side of the tank?
