      Can one re-energize (Re-magnetize) a Flywheel? Flywheel from a 1968 7.5 hp Mercury.

Probably not as flywheel magnets produced after WW II were usually made out of Alnico alloy which requires highly specialized equipment to charge them. A magnet charger meant for flywheel magnets will only work on earlier iron magnets.

Alnico magnets will hold their original charge almost indefinitely so why do you think yours needs recharging?
