Mercury K?7, Wizard, Merc 200 hodgepodge…

I’ve got the bug to make the quickest “stock” 10hp* mercury wizard from the green tank era. The plan is to slap a Merc 200 powerhead on a K?7 (likely KE7) tower and gear case and hide it all under Wizard powermatic covers and 10hp decals.

So far I’ve located a powerhead w/igniton and tower/ gear case. I’m thinking a Wizard Powermatic 12 fuel pump motor will have the most suitable cowling to use.

 

Anyone have any tips or tricks to add to my project?

You will have to have little clearance at the carb. the KE7 tower with the KG7 lower will end up with more driveshaft engagement .
