You have asked a very open ended question. We need to know more about where you’re going with this. Only thing we know from you is that you have a restored Mercury Mark 25. I have a few questions listed below for you to answer then we’ll go from there.
1. Motor in question did you have it restored or did you by a so called restored motor from someone?
2. Do you have a build sheet for what work was completed in the restoration of this motor?
There are many different types of restorations from 100% ground up builds to simple clean and tune.
