Can I use a Mark 25 fuel pump on my Mark 20 to use a single line tank? Do I need to change the receptacle to do this or just plug one fitting?

You wil need to find a fuel pump base from a mark 30/55 as the mark 20 doesn’t have the recess behind the mount to allow the diaphragm to flap. Also, because of the added thickness, you may need to countersink the holes in pump housing for the mounting screws, as they’ll hit the cowling.

Not to set aside this good advice, but contact Joe Poole at Ferguson-Poole if you need parts. And advice.
