      Hello,

I finally am getting around to restoring my lapstrake boat and outboard.  I have a Mercury Mark 25E.  Here is a photo of the coils:

Here is a close-up of one of the coils:

My question is, does anyone have a line on replacement coils?  Please let me know.

Here is a link to what I did on this motor. Stay away from the black coils as they can be glued to the laminates.   https://youtu.be/OxPHe8EPe1Q?si=pP8yToaDDgQ1Izzz

A "Boathouse Repair" is one that done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.

Repco Phelon coils MAY be out there, but, the OMC “Universal” magneto coil are available at reasonable cost, Adapting the magneto plate and coils is not
difficult, but, it is not a Drop In. Some fit and try along with some creative ignition wire routing required
          There are articles on the
          conversion around if you can
          find,

Thank you Tubs and green-thumbs for the suggestion to adapt OMC coils. This is likely the approach I will take.
