Hello I have a 14′ Mahogany Paceship Salmo made in Mahone Bay. I was wondering if a Mercury Mark 30 would be a suitable motor for it power and weight wise. I think the original Motor was a 35 hp Big Twin Evinrude. Thanks!

yes it is a fine motor for your boat. prop it for 5600-5800 WOT.

Is the Mark 30 direct drive only?
